The University of Utah College of Fine Arts’ Justice, Equity, Diversity + Inclusion (JEDI) Committee is inviting CFA students to participate in our work, bringing their voice and perspective as representatives of the student experience.
We will select two undergraduate students and one graduate student to serve for the 2020/21 academic year. These students will be expected to attend monthly (virtual) meetings and participate as full members of the committee in meeting its two main charges:
- To provide JEDI-related educational opportunities to members of the College of Fine Arts community
- To host a series of dialogues around JEDI topics with the goal of illuminating and addressing our unique challenges, and dreaming and planning the solutions to them
We welcome students with educational, volunteer or professional experience with work around justice, equity, diversity and inclusion, but that is not required. We are seeking students passionate about making positive change.
