 Plan for the Weather

It looks like we will have a nice, mild Convocation morning, but stay up to date with weather conditions with this link to AccuWeather.

Convocation Ticket Requests Are Now Closed

Students that did not submit an RSVP and need tickets should work with their unit's ticketing representative to potentially be given some of your unit's extra ticket allotment.

Students who are looking for extra tickets to the Convocation ceremony should also submit these requests through their unit ticketing representative.

PLEASE NOTE:  The College of Fine Arts Convocation is a ticketed event.  The number of tickets distributed will depend on the number of tickets each graduate requests.  Students may work with their unit's Convocation Representative (listed below) for additional ticket requests.  All guests MUST have tickets to enter Kingsbury Hall to include babes-in-arms.  There are no exceptions to this policy

The number of tickets given is controlled by the venue and will determine the number of tickets offered to each graduate participating in the ceremony.

A weapons detection screening is required before entering the venue and will be conducted by the side door of Kingsbury Hall. Not allowed: Alcohol, umbrellas, drones, fireworks, outside food/drink, weapons, artificial noisemakers, backpacks/purses, confetti, strollers, balloons. Allowed: sealed water bottles, blankets and ponchos. Walkers and wheelchairs must be used as a seat or will need to be coat checked in the main lobby.

I will be working at my current position while managing a few project-based contracts.” 2. I have some gigs and auditions lined up, and I tech for additional income.” 3. “I have accepted full-time work outside the arts while I continue to network and build my portfolio” 4. I have been self-employed for years, and my plans is to expand my work.”
