Marina Gomberg is a communications professional with nearly 20 years of experience managing public relations and marketing strategies for clients in the nonprofit, private and public sectors. She leads the communications + marketing team for the University of Utah College of Fine Arts, and previously worked as a Public Relations Account Manager and Branded Content Specialist for local PR/advertising firm, The Summit Group Communications. She also served as the Director of Development and Communications for the Utah Pride Center, the state's LGBTQ community center.

She earned her Bachelor's degree in Gender Studies from the University of Utah, and has been engaged in activism ever since, with a particularly focus on inclusive storytelling.

Gomberg's passions lie in activism, the arts, writing, travel and food. She lives in Salt Lake City with her wife, her kiddo, Harvey, and two pups. She moonlights as an award-winning lifestyle columnist for The Salt Lake Tribune.
