Sara Hoy comes to the University of Utah with a background in nonprofit donor relations and community engagement. She graduated with a degree in Recreation, Tourism, and Nonprofit Leadership from the University of Northern Iowa in 2021, after which she moved to Salt Lake City. Since arriving in Utah, her professional career has led her to nonprofits focused on housing and homelessness as well as the outdoor education industry. She is passionate about community, advocacy, and all things that make a city a connected and wonderful place to live.
In her free time Sara enjoys spending time exploring the outdoors, as well as dabbling in a variety of creative pursuits. She’s delighted to call Utah home, and to be a part of this university that plays such a big role in the community!
