Student Information
The study of art-making has a long and prestigious legacy at the University of Utah. Faculty members in the College of Fine Arts are deeply committed to nurturing the unique talents in each of our student-artists. A rigorous course of study, high standards of achievement, and a history of success have resulted in national recognition for our departments and a list of celebrated alumni.
Our strong tradition in the arts has helped to create a vibrant, arts-rich community with outstanding professional organizations in all artistic disciplines. Many artists in these organizations serve as faculty in our programs. Alumni from our various programs find work with these acclaimed arts groups and in professional careers around the world. We are proud that the Utah Museum of Fine Arts, Kingsbury Hall and Pioneer Theatre Company are housed on our campus allowing our students easy access to the best in performing and visual arts.
